• Actual IUI procedure including sperm preparation (one cycle): Rs 4000 ($90)
• Gonadotropin injections and other “super-ovulation” medications: Rs 8000 ($180)

Given the above figures, the entire program could be only as much $326. To increase the chances of conception, undergoing two or more cycles may be necessary, which is true for the entire IUI program anywhere else.

In some other clinics, the entire treatment protocol can be as low as Rs 3000 ($68), or as high as Rs 20000 ($451) per cycle. The upper limit already includes injectables and pills that stimulate ovum production.

In India, and mostly anywhere else, as you will discover, it is the fertility drugs that make the treatment much more expensive.
